Woo-hoo - A night out!

Gordon's cousin, Daisy visited us from Hong Kong. She was only here for the weekend since she had to catch a  flight from SFO to HK.

We were thankful for a great time in HK when we last visited and wanted to spend time with Daisy, so, we actually made a impromptu decision to stay over night at Gordon's parents house on Saturday.

After we put the kids to sleep around 8.30pm, we jumped for joy and headed out to downtown SF for dinner. We included Daisy, Gordon, Henry, my father in law and myself.

Our first option was to try "The Burger Bar" at downtown Macy's. Of all nights, the Burger Bar was closed a an event. Darn.

After much discussion, we decided to try Lulu Restaurant.

We ordered the mussels, the antipasta, the special pasta, the pizza and the chicken. The food was yums, the ambience was nice (everyone was dressed up except us!) and the service was great.

Our food arrived around 9.45pm. This must be the latest I have had dinner in a long long time.

Such fun to go out at night without the kids, however, after dinner, I was hit by exhaustion and just wanted to go home and sleep.

We came home and both the kids were still sound asleep....more night outs in the future?
