Why do these taste SO good?

Last weekend - Happy Birthday Dad!

I am one week behind in my blogs...... been a little busy watching Lost Season 1 and a couple of other movies including Pursuit of Happyness, Dejavu and part of Babel......

Last weekend, we celebrated Gordon's dad bday. We were planning to head out to SF, but supposedly Gordon's dad preferred to come out to Castro Valley..... which was actually good.... cos.... it made us clean up the house!

It amazes me when I walk into someone's home and they were not expecting guest, and their house is SUPER CLEAN ( you know who you are)........ anyways, let's put it this way...Gordon and I are not the neatest people.... prefer not to go into detail here (he he he)

So, we cleaned most of Saturday.. and his family came over on Sunday.

Lunch was at Old Town Cafe in Dublin. This is a new Singaporean/Malaysian... similar to Layang Layang and surprisingly good food. This is our third time there. First time, we tried Char Kuew Teow and Nasi Lemak, second time we took to-go the Mee Goreng and third time we took his family there and ate the same dishes.... will have to go and try the dishes and see how they fair.

Dinner was at Texas Roadhouse in Union City. The wait time for this place was 1 hour! Good thing there were shops nearby and we killed some time there. Texas Roadhouse is similar to Kenny Rogers in Malaysia.... peanuts everywhere....:)

Gordon's dad LOVED the bread/bun. He ate like 5 of those in a row......We were impressed with the meat and the service.

I have NOTHING to blog about..... yawn.......

I was sick all weekend!

Cough.. stuff nose... headache...fever..

I thought I could sleep it off..

Slept at 6pm Friday...woke up at 8am Saturday.. slept some more all Saturday and Sunday.. and Monday morning, I was still sick!

Saw the doctor and she says it's just a viral infection.... she offered me some Robitussin and a doctors note to give to my boss. I declined both..

Being sick sucks! What's worst is Gordon refuses to let me have tomyam instant noodles..... trust me.. instant noodles makes a sick person feel better!!! *sulks*
