I am 15 months old

Wow! 15 months has passed and I am happy..:)

1. My favourite hobby is to stand by the window in my room and watch the cars, birds and airplanes go by. I also love to see the garbage truck on Thursday mornings.

2. I do not have a favorite toy, but I like to hold something in my hand all the time. Usually, it will be a spoon, or a round shape toy; sometimes, if I get hold of a stone, I would hang on tight to me, and would yell and cry, cry,cry if mummy tries to take it away from me. I am starting to play with cars and trucks.

3. I love going out. I would bring my shoes to daddy when he is home with me and try to get him to put on my shoes for me so I can go out. I also know how to lift up my feet to put on my socks.

4. I have 10 teeth now (4 on top, 6 at the bottom). My upper fangs and lower molar is coming out now, so I drool all day long. I actually use 4-6 bibs a day if I am home all day.*yucks*

5. I can only say a few words that my parents can understand - mummy, daddy, mama, up, mum-mum. When mummy mentions the kids at my babysitter's home (Darren and Ethan and yee yee),I would respond with 'nah nah" (Check out video).

6. I also love going over to my babysitter's house. She feeds me lots and I get to play play and play with Darren and Ethan.
7. With the weather warming up, I get to go outside to the garden more. I love to play by the stones in the garden. My parents has also been taking me to many parks in the area. I can go down the slide by myself. Nothing scares me.
8.Mummy signed me up for Saturday classes. I love it. Check me out.

9. As you can see from the videos above, I am walking everywhere. I even started walking real fast (kinda running), and can walk backwards too. Great tricks! Crawling is not excitng anymore but when I am tired, I rather crawl.

Here is my current schedule/eating times:

6am - Wake and 7oz milk
7.30am - Breakfast
10.30am - 7-8oz milk
11.30am - Sleep for 1-1.5 hours
1.00pm - Lunch
3.30pm -  7-8oz milk
5.30pm - fruit/cookie
6.30pm - bath time
7.00pm - dinner
8.00pm - 7-8oz milk and sleep

Sometimes, I am super tired by 7pm, so I don't want to eat dinner. If I go to my babysitter's house, I usually skip dinner, since I am so full from a full day of eating..;)

Mummy says I am going to be  a big brother. I have no idea what that means, but it sounds good..:) Can't wait to find out if I will have a baby sister or a baby brother..:)

Till next time!

Ryan's first Giants Baseball game

Gordon’s cousin, Eugene gave us two tickets to watch the opening day game for the Giants at the AT&T park stadium.
Opening day is huge for the San Francisco people. All the tickets were sold out and the stadium was packed and the game was at 1.25pm on a Tuesday. I guess everyone took the day off……
Gordon took the day off, and I took a half day off. It was Ryan’s first baseball game, so we thought it would be fun to make it a family trip..:)
The game itself was fun. It was super long (3.5hours) but the Giants won and that’s what is important.

We sat next to Hugo and Diane, and they enjoyed the game as well.

Ryan did not want to sit down, so, it was mostly walking around. The seats were on the club level and the club level is nice! Not too many people, lots of chairs and walking space for Ryan.

It was a fun day!

Ethiopian food, parks and tomyam dinner.

Some of our weekend activities. (Gordon and I loved the picture above. It's a shadow of all three of us and little ryan).

On Saturday, Gordon and I got bored around 4pm and decided we needed to head out for dinner.

So, Gordon did some research and found an Ethiopian restaurant in Oakland…. since we were close to ee ling’s place, we invited her and she said yes! (ahh, married couples with no kids are always free..:)) So, we checked out CafĂ© Coluccis.

We ordered the Vege combo, meat combo and shrimp sizzling platter. This was Gordon’s first time eating Ethiopian food, and he was surprised that cutlery was not provided and we had to eat with our hands.

I liked the ingera (it's a pancake like thingy that taste like sour dough bread).

The food – was so so. I tried Ethiopian food in San Jose before and had a better experience down there. I kinda like mushy food with sauce… but Gordon doesn’t really like it..

While we were having dinner with Ee Ling and Eric, she mentioned that she was making tomyam dinner the following night…. Yums… so, we said we will join her at her house for tomyam dinner….:)
We spent Sunday afternoon before dinner checking out some homes for sale in Oakland. Gordon seems to think the prices are really low, and we could invest in one of them…. (anyone want to invest with us???)

We also checked out several parks in the Oakland area. I loved the Frog park. There is treehouse there and a very kid frenly and safe area.

We also made a trip to Ikea. It was fun and we were interested to see how to decorate a 600 sq ft place, since we are always space constraint. We did not buy much… just a laundry basket and a kids apron/bip for Ryan.

The tomyam dinner was definitely good. I had three bowls of tomyam soup. It was good! Ee ling also made some veges, egg and steamed salmon to go with the dinner. Even Ryan had her food and he ate all of it… oh, and he tried some tomyam.. he did not yell even though it was spicy, but I immediately gave him water, cos I could see him opening and closing his mouth due to the spiciness *hehehehe*

We realized that the last time we visited ee ling's apt was about 1 year 1 month ago. Ryan was only 2 months old... below is a pic of him at her house when he was 2 months...
and here is one of him now....
heheh, doesn't he look so different?!

Ryan with his toys.

Ryan has started to like to play with soft toys. He started off just picking them up and throwing them when he saw them. Now, he would still throw them, but he can play with them as well....

He gets super excited when I ask him where his toys are... he would look for them and give them to me.:)

Just a simple video of Ryan playing.

We are wondering if he will get attached to them... that's why we offered his three at the same time..:)

Ryan is going to be a big brother!

You read it right! Ryan is going to have a sibling....
Ultrasound at 7 weeks..
Ultrasounds at 12.5 weeks (I can't figure out why this picture won't load correctly!)

Anyone want to take guesses on whether we will have a girl or a boy? We won't know till late April..:)

My pregnancy symptoms are exactly the same as the last one... which is no symptoms! no cravings, no nausea, ok, maybe more tired (an excuse for me to sleep more)...

I started out with a lower weight than my first pregnancy, so I have been able to stay quiet about the second one for some time.... now that I announced it at work, I can put it on my blog (word gets around fast!).

Here's me at 14 weeks pregnancy.
